Initial list of Xbox One backwards compatible games to be revealed Nov. 9

The New Xbox One Experience (NXOE) update for the Xbox One is right around the corner, bringing a redesigned dashboard and more. One of the highlights of the update is that it adds backwards compatibility with Xbox 360 games, and it looks like we'll be seeing a full list of the more than 100 games that will initially be compatible just a few days before launch on November 9. From Xbox's Mike Ybarra:

For those asking we'll announce the initial set of 100+ backward compatible titles on 11/9, a few days before our launch!

While the full list of which games will be backwards compatible has been a bit of a secret since the feature was announced, we did get an early look at some titles when the update launched to preview members earlier this year. That initial set included the likes of Mass Effect, Perfect Dark, Super Meat Boy and more. In addition, we know that the Gears of War series will be backwards compatible, as well as a number of popular Ubisoft titles.

If you're eager for the full list of initial games, be sure to keep an eye on Windows Central on November 9 for the all the details.
