A few days ago, Activision announced that the campaign mode for its upcoming first-person shooter Call of Duty: Black Ops III would only be available on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC versions. Now, it has released a new trailer that offers up a glimpse of that campaign portion of the game, which will be released on November 6.
The trailer shows that Black Ops III will continue with the previous game's near-future setting, as soldiers get outfitted with cybernetic implants in their head and other parts of the body. While there's going to be a lot of shooting and explosions, like any Call of Duty game, the trailer shows that the neural implant could cause the player character to experience some mind games and illusions as well.
By the way, Activision and developer Treyarch have apparently recruited actor Christopher Meloni (Law & Order: SVU) to lend both his voice and likeness to one of Black Ops III's main characters, similar to how Kevin Spacey was placed in 2014's Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.
