Windows 10

If you happen to be using the Windows 10 Home SKU on your PC or tablet, you now have an extra feature that wasn't available when it launched on July 29. One of the three updates to Windows 10 build 10240 that were released by Microsoft earlier this week now allows users on the Home SKU to disable automatic app updates from the Windows Store for the first time.

The specific update that adds this feature has the support number KB3081448. Downloading and installing this update should give users of Windows 10 Home a new option in the Windows Store settings to turn "Update apps automatically" On or Off. Again, this new feature has just been added for Windows 10 Home; all the other versions of Windows 10 for the PC have already enabled this option.
