Microsoft may not have officially confirmed the Lumia 650, but the upcoming Windows 10 Mobile device has quietly passed through the certification process for the U.S. Federal Communications Commission. The FCC website has a listing for the phone, with the RM-1152 designation.
As we reported a few weeks ago, the Lumia 650 is expected to be officially revealed by Microsoft sometime in February, most likely at the Mobile World Congress trade show in Barcelona, Spain. Here's a reminder of the rumored hardware specs for the mid-range phone:
- Windows 10 Mobile
- Colors: Matte White or Matte Black
- 5-inch 720p display
- Snapdragon 212 processor
- 1GB of RAM
- 8GB of storage with micro SD expansion
- 5MP front-facing camera; 8MP rear with LED flash
- No wireless charging
