Micromax Canvas Win W092 smartphone available for pre-order in Russia

Micromax

The Micromax Canvas Win W092 smartphone, which was first announced for India earlier this summer, is now available for pre-order in Russia for the price of 4,790 rubles (about $128).

Unfortunately, there's no word on exactly when the phone will go on sale in Russia, but it will be yet another low cost addition to the Windows Phone 8.1 ecosystem in that country. Just a reminder: The 4-inch Micromax Canvas Win W092 has a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 quad-core processor, 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of onboard storage, along with a 5 megapixel rear camera and a a 0.3 megapixel front-facing camera.

What do you think of Micromax bringing one of its phones to Russia?

Yeah, who gives them the OS for free and they still put phones out with poor designs that are unappealing. This is why Microsoft should drop OEMs who don't market, support, or produce great designed phones. Just make the deals with Sony, Alienware, Asus, and maybe Vizio. I think they would make phones with good designs...... NO OEMs who don't should be allowed.

Sony Xperia for Windows? Sounds good enough. Sony is a great OEM, it will be a good news if they make Windows Phones...

"Can be me" here is told in the context of the fact that windows phone is a very very very very user friendly phone. We could just be holistically juxtaposed by the phone which in itself may be sounding like something blasphemous. Enough mad talks. This is just their way of saying that the phone will become an inseparable part of yours. I am an indian and like to follow all the budget phones
micromax is always in my sight. It keeps on saying these "CAN" things.
For eg. "Micromax turbo, Can juggle many lives". That doesn't mean that you are going to be juggled. Figurative man........

WOW SUCH A TRY. I think this old-designed (as for me it is Bbr) device could be more colourful to make some noise in Russia or anywhere else. What r u imagine, when you hear about India? It could be so 'folk', but it`s just another 'brick'. Don`t think this modern colorfullnes on wp dictated from above. Hope to see smth 00s stlyle again on modern touch. Russia is so adherent to Nokia itself, and Nokia as a WP provider. As Evgeniy Shiryaev said:

Nobody knows Micromax in Russia.

I am really saddened to see people going on and on about its looks. Is a $128 phone with a gig of ram, which enables it to run every app on the windows phone ecosystem and has a front facing camera. Its a great value for money.
