Microsoft is inching closer to officially releasing Windows 10 Mobile to its older Windows Phone devices. The company has now added a "Lumia with Windows 10" page to its Software Update site that tracks which version of Windows Phone or Windows 10 Mobile is on each Lumia smartphone in each country.

The "Lumia with Windows 10" page also includes links to a number of FAQ pages to help people update their Lumia smartphones. This shows the company is preparing for the first over-the-air updates for Windows 10 Mobile. Officially, Microsoft is still saying, "We expect to begin rolling out the Windows 10 Mobile update in December" in messages to users on their Lumia Help Twitter account.

However, as we reported earlier this week, our sources have told us that Microsoft expects to send Windows 10 Mobile to wireless carriers this week, and the first updates might roll out as early as Nov. 12, although that is ultimately up to the carriers themselves.
