The Microsoft Band fitness wearable is about to become even more useful for heavy golf players. The company says that the Band and the Microsoft Health app will add more features from golf company TaylorMade; specifically its myRoundPro feature that will allow golf players to track a number of different statistics from their rounds.
Earlier this summer, Microsoft and TaylorMade announced a partnership that added a way for the Microsoft Band and Health app to track a golfer's score, longest drive, number of pars or better per round, pace of play and more. Now the new myRoundPro support will offer even more information, including:
- Mapped shot locations
- Fairways hit
- Greens in regulation
- Putts per round
- Sand saves
- Scoring average
- Shot proximity to hole
- Strokes gained
