Microsoft To-Do for Windows 10 now lets you sort tasks with hashtags

Microsoft To-Do already embraced hashtags on mobile, and, as spotted by All About Windows Phone (via OnMSFT), it's now bringing the feature to Windows 10. Since its popularization by Twitter, the hashtag has become a go-to way for sorting things by subject, and it's no different here.

Hashtags can be added to your tasks to make them easily searchable, which can come in handy if you're a heavy To-Do user with lots of tasks competingfor your attention. You can add them to either the notes for a particular task or in the name of the task itself. Once save, the hashtag will be highlighted and underlined to indicate you can interact with it. Tapping or clicking it will take you to a page where you can see all notes and tasks that share that tag.

Hashtags can also be used in the search menu to surface every task or note you have associated with a particular tag.

If you want to try the feature out for yourself, you can give hashtags a shot with the latest version of Microsoft To-Do available on the Microsoft Store now.
