Microsoft has posted a new video that put the spotlight on the features included in Microsoft Edge, the newly-renamed web browser for Windows 10 that previously went by the code name "Project Spartan".

The video clip shows off features such as its Cortana integration, its new tabs design, the support for web extensions, its reading list and more.

Microsoft's official Internet Explorer blog also mentions Microsoft Edge in a new post today, and adds:

"Microsoft Edge is the future of our browser strategy, and accordingly we'll be archiving the IEBlog starting this week as we refresh our Web properties with the new brand."

It also mentions that more information on the browser will be revealed at the newly renamed Microsoft Edge Web Summit, which will be held on May 5-6 at Microsoft's Silicon Valley offices located in Mountain View, California.
