A developer who received the Microsoft HoloLens Developer Edition got to show his 93-year-old great-grandfather a virtual tour of the Machu Picchu ruins in Peru.

The developer, Terry Bennett, posted about his demo of HoloLens to his great-grandfather in a YouTube video (via WinBeta). The HoloLens was also used by his great-grandmother in the same HoloTour.

We also get to see Bennett using the HoloLens at his home, as he uses it to read websites, as well as showing a zombie giving his wife a birthday cake and more. The video shows once again that the HoloLens has a ton of potential to change how we interact with technology. Microsoft is currently shipping the $3,000 Developer Editon of the HoloLens to a select number of app developers.
