Microsoft is launching two of their newest Windows Phone devices, the Lumia 640 and Lumia 640 XL, this week in one of the operating system's biggest markets, Brazil. The Lumia 640 will be offered with support for digital television (DTV).
The 5-inch Lumia 640 with DTV will come in a dual SIM 3G option for the price of 799 Brazilian Real (about $250). A version with a single SIM and LTE support will be sold in the near future. The 5.7-inch Lumia 640 XL, again with dual SIMs,willl be priced at 999 Brazilian Real (about $312). Versions of the phone with either single SIM or dual SIM LTE will go on sale soon.
Microsoft is also offering buyers of both phones a free one-year subscription to Office 365 Personal from April 1 to June 30 if they download the Office 365 Gift app.
