Microsoft has officially launched the Lumia 735 and the Lumia 830 in Malaysia. Consumers interested in buying either device can do so starting October 3 from a variety of online as well as offline retailers.
The Lumia 830 is priced at RM1399 ($430) in the country, while the Lumia 735 will be available for RM999 ($305). If you're one of the first 500 customers to buy the Lumia 830 in Malaysia, Microsoft will throw in Office 365 Home Premium for free.
The Lumia 830 is touted as the affordable flagship phone, and features a 5-inch 720p display, 1 GB RAM, 16 GB internal storage, 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 CPU, LTE connectivity and a 2,200 mAh battery. There is a 10 MP PureView camera with OIS at the back, and a 0.9 MP front shooter as well as a microSD slot that can fit 128 GB SD cards.
The Lumia 735 has a 4.7-inch 720p screen, 1 GB RAM, 8 GB storage, microSD slot up to 128 GB, 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 400 and a 6.7 MP camera at the back. The standout feature of the device is a 5 MP wide angle camera at the front that allows you to take great selfies. The Lumia 735 eschews the dual-SIM functionality of the Lumia 730, but brings LTE connectivity.
Both devices come with Windows Phone 8.1 and include the Lumia Denim update out of the box.
