Xbox Video

Microsoft has released the web version of its Xbox Video service, enabling consumers to enjoy TV shows and movies, much like what's already available on Windows 8.1. We've previously looked at the company planning to unleash an app for Windows Phone, but this remains on the horizon for now.

With Xbox Video on the web, you can purchase content that can then be streamed on clients available for both Windows and Xbox One. It's worth noting that HD content is only available through apps loaded on Xbox One and Windows 8.1 - the Windows Phone app will also reportedly lack HD support.
