Update: Well that was extremely quick. Tickets for Build 2015 have now sold out. Microsoft is still taking signups to be included on the waitlist, however.
Original story: As it promised last week, Microsoft has begun accepting registrations for its Build 2015 developers conference. The event will be held at San Francisco's Moscone Center from April 29 to May 1.
The cost for developers to get their ticket is $2095 this year, and the company will also offer access to a limited number of academic tickets for $995. Even at those prices, we expect it will sell out pretty quickly. Registration for Build 2015 comes on the heels of Microsoft's Windows 10 event, and the company will likely reveal even more about its plans for the next edition of its OS, both in terms of hardware and software, during the conference.
