Microsoft has made a small edit to the description of Xbox Play Anywhere. The company has altered the text from stating that every future Microsoft Studios title would support the feature to just titles shown at E3. As spotted by PC Gamer, the section now reads, "every new title published from Microsoft Studios that we showed onstage at E3 this year will support Xbox Play Anywhere." It's not a massive alteration, but is one that will mean there could be a title or two that remain platform exclusive.
It seems to be a smart move by Microsoft. Expectations would be high for the company to launch each and every one of its titles across all its platforms, and altering this description slightly could provide some breathing space to work with. Because there's always that one chance things could go wrong with a cross-platform Xbox and PC launch and the backlash would be severe.
