Finding and buying things directly from the Xbox One should be easier with the upcoming New Xbox One Experience update. Microsoft showed off the features of the revamped Store in a new video tutorial.

Xbox Live programming head Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb and Richard Irving from the Xbox engineering team show how the Store section of the user interface expands when it is selection, bringing up options for its four major sections (Games, Apps, Movies & TV and Music). In the Games part of the Store, users can scroll down to see different categories like New Releases, Coming Soon, Top Paid, Top Free and others. There are also filter tabs at the top where users can just see what add-ons are in the Store. Users can also type in any promo code for games they might have directly from the Games section in the Store.

Selecting a specific game in the Store will allow users to see streaming broadcasts and video clips made by the community for that game. There's also a direct link to the Game Hub for that specific title. The New Xbox One Experience update will be released for all Xbox One consoles on November 12.
