Microsoft shows off augmented Actiongram videos captured with HoloLens

With the HoloLens dev edition pre-order program well under way, Microsoft is gradually showing off content that will be available for the augmented reality headgear. The latest is Actiongram and Microsoft has shown off some footage captured with the app.

The best part about Actiongram is it doesn't require much experience or a degree in video production to produce some interesting content with visual effects. Microsoft's Kudo Tsunoda explained the new app in a blog post.

"Creators are able to develop their own unique holographic stories, in their world, to express their thoughts, ideas, and delight people. Actiongram allows people to create videos with holograms and advanced visual effects that would normally require expensive software and years of experience to do. Actiongram was built by a team of just 5 people in roughly 6 months This team was given a mission to help prove the robustness of the HoloLens development platform and the ability for a small team to make a high-quality holographic experience."
