Microsoft starts rolling out Planner organization app to Office 365 subscribers

Microsoft is now rolling out Planner, its app for organizing tasks and projects within teams, to its eligible Office 365 subscribers. With Planner, you can easily update the status of a project, share files with team members, and see who is assigned to a project all in one place.

From Microsoft:

The addition of Planner to the Office 365 lineup introduces a new and improved way for businesses, schools and organizations to structure teamwork easily and get more done. With Planner, teams can create new plans; organize, assign and collaborate on tasks; set due dates; update statuses and share files, while visual dashboards and email notifications keep everyone informed on progress.

Planner will automatically appear in the Office 365 app launcher for those with eligible subscription plans, which include Office 365 Enterprise E1–E5, Business Essentials, Premium, and Education. The rollout is expected to take place over the next several weeks, so don't be surprised if Planner isn't available for your right away.
