If you want or need one of Microsoft's current Surface devices, the Microsoft Store has some new offers that could either save you some money or get you a nice freebie. The promotions involve the Surface 3 and Surface Pro 4 tablet, and the Surface Book 2-in-1 notebook.
The 128GB version of the Surface 3 is on sale from now until April 30 for $549 for the Wi-Fi model and $649 for the Wi-Fi and cellular version. Both are discounted $50 from their normal price. As usual, buyers of the Surface 3 will also get a free one-year subscription to Office 365 Personal, valued at $69.99.
If you want a more powerful Surface Pro 4 or Surface Book, Microsoft is also running a new promotion that gives buyers a choice: They can get either a free Xbox One game controller with wireless adapter or $100 off the $199 Surface Dock if they buy the Surface devices with Intel's Core i7 processor inside. There's no word on when this promotion will end.
