Microsoft has posted a page on its Dev Channel website that teases the launch of its "Project Spartan" web browser in the next version of the Windows 10 Technical Preview.

Project Spartan Preview

The page appears to be a placeholder for when the new build goes live. It shows the browser's globe icon as it will appear on the Windows 10 taskbar and some of Project Spartan's features, such as Web Note, which will let users write or type directly on web pages and then share them with other people, its Reading Mode options and its integration with the Cortana digital assistant.

The website URL has '1503' in it, which may hint at the build number for the release, though this is just speculation.

It's a bit late in the day today for Microsoft to launch a new build of the Windows 10 Technical Preview, but perhaps it will be available to download sometime later this week for Windows Insider members
