Microsoft joined LG in Korea to discuss Windows 10 and the latest hardware from the Korean OEM. Windows 10 itself is reportedly off to a comfortable start in the region with consumers accumulating over 1 billion hours running Microsoft's latest OS since launch.

The figures come from Microsoft's Terry Myerson, who joined Brian Kwon, President of LG Home Entertainment Company, for the panel discussion. Myerson states that the adoption of Windows 10 in Korea, currently available on more than 22,000 different types of devices, is five times faster than Windows 8.

The two companies also announced the LG 13-inch and 14-inch gram, Tabbook Duo (10.1" Tablet), and 21:9 Curved AIO. The LG gram ultrabooks will be available for purchase in Microsoft Stores this holiday season. LG aims to have all LG PCs running Windows 10 by December.

The new LG laptops were made available in North America last month, though LG plans to launch products in other regions, including Latin America.
