Microsoft's Xbox One division has already announced plans to celebrate the launch of Halo 5: Guardians later today with a streaming event called Halo 5: Live. However, the company may be using the event to announce one or more Xbox One-related news items that are not directly related to Halo 5.

Microsoft's Xbox engineering leader Mike Ybarra posted on his Twitter account:

"I encourage everyone to watch Halo 5: Live. You might hear about things beyond Halo.

When a fan asked Microsoft's Xbox marketing head Aaron Greenberg on Twitter about non-Halo related reveals coming on Monday, he simply replied people should "be sure" to tune into the Halo 5: Live event. It will be streaming on Microsoft's Xbox YouTube channel starting at 6 p.m. EDT.

So what do you think Microsoft might have up its sleeve for this "beyond Halo" announcement? Let us know in the comments.
