If you are a member of the Windows Insider program, you have a lot of company. Microsoft revealed as part of its IFA press conference that there are now over seven million members of the program that allows anyone to test preview builds of Windows 10 and Windows 10 Mobile before they are released to the general public.
Microsoft started the Windows Insider program in September, but it has grown by leaps and bounds just in the past few months. In early July, the company declared the program had reached the 5 million member mark, and in August it revealed it had reached the 6 million milestone. That means the program has had two million new members sign up just in the last two months.
Microsoft has already released build 10532 of Windows 10 to Windows Insider members for testing and feedback and the company plans to continue to offer preview builds of the OS for the foreseeable future.
