Minecraft fans should start making plans to travel in late September. Developer Mojang has that the 2016 edition of its Minecon fan event will be held in Anaheim, California on Sept. 24-25.
Mojang announced the dates and location with a funny video that definitely has a "Hollywood" vibe, even though Anaheim is over an hour away from Hollywood itself. Mojang will reveal more details about Minecon, including when tickets will go on sale, sometime in the coming weeks. It also announced that the event will be livestreamed for folks that cannot attend.
