VR is a big theme at this year's Computex, and MSI is bringing something pretty unique to the table. Their new backpack PC is built to go with you as you wander around your virtual reality. The model I tried was powered by a 6th. gen Intel Core i7 processor, GTX980 graphics, and 16 GB of RAM.

Its independent power supply would keep the whole rig going for 60 - 90 minutes. At 12 pounds, weight was a bit of an issue, especially for games where you'd be moving around a bit, but I was able to get through a few rounds of Xortex 26XX without issue. MSI is hoping to bring that weight down before this thing launches in the second half of the year.

The whole idea of a backpack PC is an awfully extreme solution to a cable management problem very few people have. Somehow that does little to dull its novelty value. What do you guys think? How do you deal with VR cables getting in your way?
