Windows 10 Mobile could finally get a new, and official, public preview build released this week. New messages from Microsoft's Windows Insider head Gabriel Aul state that if testing holds up on their latest internal build, it could be released to members of the Windows Insider program on Tuesday, September 15.
Aul made these new statements on his Twitter account:
"Mobile build update: We deployed 10536.1004 to our final Microsoft ring yesterday @ 4:00. Data for ring promotion is looking good so far. If it continues to look good then tomorrow AM (Redmond time) is most likely ETA for posting to Fast ring."
In a follow up message, Aul hinted how much time the team took to work on the new build over the weekend:
"It was an exciting weekend :-) We all had to reflash since we were on 10536.1003, and wanted to get enough runtime on it."
The team had planned to launch Windows 10 Mobile 10536 last week, but a last-minute bug caused the team to delay the release. However, the team accidentally released the buggy build over the weekend, which was installed by 200 Windows Insider members before it was pulled.
