An official Starbucks app for Windows Phone has been one of the most requested by device owners in the U.S., and now there's unofficial word that such an app for the huge coffee retailer is in the works and could be released "soon".

The info comes from a Twitter post (via MSPoweruser) from Seattle Times journalist Janet Tu, who attended Starbucks' annual company shareholders meeting today:

That's really all we know at this point, but it's possible Microsoft and Starbucks could reveal more information on this development at next week's Build 2016 developer conference. Starbucks does have official Windows Phone apps in Mexico and Russia that are run by different companies.
