Opera's web browser gets an integrated ad blocker

After integrating a free unlimited VPN service into dev builds of its browser last month, Opera is now offering native ad blocking for the stable channel of the desktop browser. The feature has been available in the dev builds of the browser for some time now, and is being graduated to the stable release today.

Opera says that the feature results in up to 89% faster load times, and 45% faster loads when compared to a third-party service like Adblock Plus. The integrated ad blocker can be switched on or off with a single click, as all you have to do is navigate to the shield icon in the address bar and toggle the "block ads" setting.

What do you guys think of the feature?
