Max: The Curse of Brotherhood

It’s the weekend, but not just any weekend. It’s the weekend before Christmas, so handful of you might not have any work until late next week. Either way, kick back and take a break from holiday shopping with your Xbox One. From Press play comes Max: The Curse of Brotherhood, now available for the Xbox One.

Press Play is the game studio behind past Windows Phone games Tentacles and Max & the Magic Marker. In the summer of 2012 they were acquired by Microsoft and now belong to Microsoft Studios. So it’s a bit of a bummer that Max: The Curse of Brotherhood isn’t out for Windows Phone, but it still looks like a fun game and one worth highlighting.

The Curse of Brotherhood is a side scrolling adventure and looks like a solid game. Check out the video below to see Max in action.

The game is a follow up to 2010’s Max & the Magic Marker. You’re playing around as Max, but trying to save your younger brother after wishing him ill. We’re downloading the game now on our Xbox One and will have a review up after playing around with it. In the meantime, you guys and gals should join in and check it out. There’s nothing like a solid platformer to kill some time. There is an Xbxo 360 version coming, but that's not until sometime in 2014.

It goes for $14.99 and you can download it from the Xbox One Store. Game clocks in at 2.98 GB for the download. Enjoy!
