It was two weeks ago in Abu Dhabi at Nokia World 2013 that we finally saw the next flagship Windows Phone device – the Lumia 1520. It’s the biggest Windows Phone device to date, packing a 1080p display into a 6-inch screen. It’s powered by a Snapdragon 800, which is a 2.2GHz quad-core processor that will help you process those photos from the 20MP sensor with ease. Are you planning on getting one? Take our poll at let us know.
Earlier, we saw the Lumia 1520 for AT&T pop up as a listing on the Microsoft Store’s website. It was quickly pulled by Microsoft since it revealed some pricing information about the upcoming handset. AT&T customers can get the Lumia 1520 for $199 on contract or $549 off contract. Later they accidently shared the pricing for the protective case/cover, it’ll go for $39.00. Not bad pricing wise, but remember that the AT&T variant of the Lumia 1520 omits wireless charging and drops the onboard storage from 32GB to 16GB. A little tarnished, but still a desirable device.
The international version of the Lumia 1520 will come with the Qi wireless charging built-in and include 32GB of onboard storage. Don’t forget, both the AT&T and international versions have a microSD card slot so you can up your storage.
Here in the United States, it’s looking like November 22nd will be the day that AT&T customers can get the Lumia 1520. Other markets should follow shortly after that. Yeah, the Lumia 1520, Lumia 2520, and Xbox One are coming out on the same day.
So we need to ask, are you getting the Lumia 1520? Let us know in the poll below.
