Finland-based developer Remedy won't be showing its long-awaited Xbox One action game Quantum Break at E3 2015 next week. However, the developer has confirmed that the game will be shown in early August at Gamescom in Cologne, Germany.
Remedy's Sam Lake made those announcements today as part of the developer's plans to hold a 20th anniversary party this fall. The best part? They want to give a fan and his or her guest a chance to attend. Here are the details:
" R.S.V.P. by sharing your Remedy game memory and birthday greetings to social media in video form with #Remedy20. Sam Lake and other members of the Remedy team will select one lucky video creator who we'll fly over to the anniversary event in Finland and who also gets to bring a friend along. All #Remedy20 videos take part in sweepstakes with prizes including Remedy games signed by the team and other collector items."
The deadline for entries for the contest is August 8th. In the meantime, Quantum Break, which was first announced as an Xbox One exclusive over two years ago, is currently scheduled for release sometime in 2016.
