Fans of Quantum Break on Windows 10 can look forward to a new update soon that should smooth out framerates if you have the right hardware. In particular, the upcoming update will add support for NVIDIA's G-Sync and AMD's FreeSync for those who happen to have compatible monitors.

Quantum Break for Windows 10 will soon support frame-syncing tech from NVIDIA and AMD

The new comes via Remedy's PR lead, Thomas Puha, on Twitter:

If you're unfamiliar with G-Sync of FreeSync, they're competing technologies from NVIDIA and AMD that help your graphics card communicate with enabled monitors to sync frames. The result is a smoother image with no screen tearing.

There's no timeline on the update, but Quantum Break gamers should see it relatively soon.
