A couple of days after Microsoft revealed it was going to make a Skype Universal Windows Platform app, some screenshots showing the Windows 10 PC version in action have been leaked onto the Internet.

Microsoft previously announced it wasn't going to make a UWP Skype app for Windows 10, in favor of integrating Skype features in the operating system's Phone, Messaging and Video apps. The company changed its mind after receiving feedback from Windows 10 users that they wanted one app that handled all those features at once.

As posted by Thurrott.com, the screenshots show a very familiar UI for the Skype app. The article notes that it does not have any extra functions; it's just a Skype app in UWP format at this point.

Microsoft has already stated it will release the Skype UWP app first for Insiders with future Windows 10 PC preview builds. A Windows 10 Mobile version will be released later.
