Wiggins Professional Services is offering SlideShow over at the Windows Phone 7 Marketplace for $.99. It's a simple application for your Windows Phone that generates slide shows from your picture folders.

Slideshow only has one page of interface and from this main page you select which folder you want to show, the transition style, and duration each image is seen. You also have the ability to disable the Lock Screen.

Once you start the slide show, you can swipe forwards/backwards to skip slides and tapping an image will pause things. It's a nice app but you have to do all the heavy lifting by creating a folder (done through Zune) and move the images you want displayed to that folder (again, done through Zune).

I would have liked to have seen more options or a picture selection screen that would allow you to choose which photos are displayed from the chosen folder. As is, I can't help but feel there was something lacking with SlideShow.

None the less, SlideShow ran smoothly and slide shows were created promptly. If you need a simple slide show app, SlideShow is one option to consider but unfortunately there is no trial version available. Again, the full version will run $.99 and you can find it here (opens Zune) at the Marketplace.
