A number of Windows 10 users are still dealing with being unable to sign in or download apps from the Windows Store. This news comes even after Microsoft released a patch earlier this week that was supposed to fix the issue.
The problems, which also extend to opening some of Microsoft's built-in Windows 10 apps like Mail and Calendar, were first reported about a week ago. Microsoft said that a patch to fix the problem would be available this week, and indeed a cumulative update for the OS was released on Tuesday.
Unfortunately, the Windows Store problems have persisted for many users, including ZDNet's Mary Jo Foley, who stated that up to eight app updates are stalled in the store queue. She got in touch with Microsoft who sent out this statement from a spokesperson:
"We are aware that a set of customers are experiencing this issue and we are working to resolve the situation as soon as possible and thank our customers for their patience."
While the Windows Store problem doesn't appear to be a widespread one, it's certainly annoying for the Windows 10 users who are still dealing with it after one week. Hopefully, Microsoft will be able to fix this issue very soon.
