Earlier this week, Microsoft started inviting members of the press to a big Windows 10 event that will be held in New York City on Tuesday, October 6. As it turns out, the source code for the website Microsoft launched for its live stream of the event seems to confirm the rumors of new product launches.

The code contains the following line:

"Windows 10 devices, Windows devices, Microsoft Band, Microsoft Surface, Lumia, Live stream, Windows announcement, Windows Phone"

On the surface (no pun intended) it would appear that the source code confirms Microsoft will reveal new products in its Surface device family, along with new Lumia smartphones and a new Microsoft Band wearable. As we have reported before, the company is likely to reveal two new Windows 10 Mobile devices, which may be be called the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL, at the event. It could also reveal the Surface Pro 4 tablet, and the second version of the Microsoft Band fitness wearable.

Windows Central will be front and center at the New York City press event that will happen three weeks from today, and will have first-hand reports on everything Microsoft will reveal at the event.
