StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void will be released on Nov. 10, check out its opening cinematic

It's taken a long time, but finally Blizzard revealed today that StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void, the second and final stand-alone expansion pack to their hit RTS game, will be released on November 10 for Windows and Mac. Blizzard has also posted up the impressive looking CGI cinematic trailer for the expansion.

The game's single-player campaign will focus on the highly advanced Protoss alien race, along with some new multiplayer content for all three playable races. While this is technically an expansion pack for StarCraft II, Legacy of the Void has been designed so that anyone can play its content without needing the main game. This will be the final game in the StarCraft II "trilogy". The first game, Wings of Liberty, came out in July 2010, while the second part, Heart of the Swarm, was released in March 2013.
