Surface Pro 3 Firmware update

Microsoft has a surprise for Surface Pro 3 owners in the form of a firmware update for the 12-inch tablet. Details about what it contains are currently a little vague, with the main change note stating, "These updates are released by PC manufacturers to help improve the stability and performance of PC hardware."

A breakdown of the download by Windows Central reader Aaron Hall reveals that the firmware includes updates for "Intel MEI, Surface Integrator, WiFi and Bluetooth drivers, and System Aggregator Firmware." So far, The official Surface Pro 3 update history page does not have a change log for today's download.

We'll update the article with the changes once Microsoft details them.
