Update: Microsoft has since posted release notes for this batch of firmware updates. You can check them out here.

If you own a Surface Pro 4, you may want to check Windows Update for a batch of firmware updates that are now rolling out. As per usual, the Surface Pro 4 update history page hasn't been updated with details yet, so its not entirely clear what's new.

Curiously, judging by a tip we received and an ongoing Reddit thread, this batch of firmware updates is actually labeled with older release dates. We're not sure what's going on, but it's similar to a firmware release that began rolling out to the Surface Studio last night, dated November 18.

We'll know more once Microsoft adds details to its Surface Update History page. In the meantime, if you own a Surface Pro 4, you should be able to grab these firmware releases via Windows Update now.

Thanks to Wes for the tip!
