Nokia World 2013 is soon approaching and is now only weeks away (October 22nd if you require reminding). Nokia has announced on its official blog that the press event taking place on the day over in Abu Dhabi will be streamed live on Nokia conversations for everyone to watch. Great news if you're unable to attend. So, what are the details?

In about three and a half weeks we’ll be live from Abu Dhabi where Nokia is expected to release a handful of new devices for Windows Phone and even Windows 8. Of course there will be some Asha devices as well, but you really want to know about the higher-end hardware. Nokia is also known for releasing new software and apps alongside devices. And it looks like an app called StoryTeller is coming for both Windows Phone 8 and Windows 8.

This morning, Nokia has sent out press invites and announced on their Facebook page their October 22nd event, now dubbed Nokia World. While we knew previously that the event was to take place on that date, after being postponed from late September, we did not know the location.

Nokia will reportedly unveil the 6-inch Lumia 1520 and the Windows 8.1 RT tablet, the Lumia 2520, in Abu Dhabi, located in the United Arab Emirates. The location is certainly unusual for them as traditionally Nokia has announced new devices in New York or London.
