The history of MOGA controller support on Windows Phone has been tumultuous. Microsoft and MOGA manufacturer Power A first announced that the then-upcoming MOGA Pro Controller would be Windows Phone 8 compatible during last year’s GDC. Games would need to specifically support the controller, and only one did at the time: Drift Mania Championship 2. We even played it during the show.

Since then, Power A has mysteriously and illogically refused to acknowledge Windows Phone support on the MOGA packaging and website. But the MOGA Pro Controller does work with Windows Phone, and new MOGA-enabled games continue to trickle out. So here we are at last with our full review, which also includes a tutorial and compatibility guide!

The CR-200 is Nokia's wireless charging car holder for Windows Phones (or any compatible smartphone). Nokia's Bluetooth headphone setup, currently codenamed 'Guru,' looks like it might be released under the official name BH-121, according to FCC documents showing a device similar to a previously leaked rendering. If you spend any amount of time in the car and need safe access to your Windows Phone, a car cradle is a must. You could sit your Windows Phone on the dash or in the passenger seat (if vacant) but one quick turn and it could go sailing across your car. You could sit it in a car holder but the view isn't that great.  Keep it in your pocket and you've got to battle the seat belt to get it out.  Car cradles or mounts are convenient, safe and keeps your phone handy.

iOttie offers a nice selection of car cradles for our Windows Phones. Two of which we carry over in the Windows Phone Central Accessory Store; the multi-adjustable Easy One-Touch and the compact Easy Flex 2. Both are quality cradles and features iOttie's automatic closure system.  Ease past the break to read more about both these Windows Phone car cradles.

Earlier this week, Microsoft introduced the next generation of their Surface tablet hybrid. The Surface Pro 2 and Surface 2 were announced alongside, the Surface Music Cover, a new “blade” which allows users to easily remix music on a special touch sensitive cover. The venture has shown us that Surface has many capabilities beyond a typical keyboard and the Surface team headed to the Art Center College of Design to find out exactly how far Surface can go.

One of the challenges Windows Phone owners may face is finding a quality, practical, car mount for their phone. If you're still in search for a solution, take a gander at the Aduro U-Grip Universal Car Mount.

The U-Grip is a clamp styled mount that pivots 360 degrees to accommodate portrait and landscape viewing, which is ideal for your navigational apps. Construction is solid, it affixes to your car dash or windshield firmly and holds your Windows Phone in place with very little wiggle room. The U-Grip comes across as very appealing option and may be the best car mount out there.

Waiting patiently for the Lumia 1020 from Nokia? Amazon.com appears to be too and the online retailer has one of the wireless charging back covers (Nokia CC-3066) for the Windows Phone.

Available in black and yellow, the accessory is not yet in stock but is priced at $39.99. We don't believe AT&T will carry this add-on so it's certainly worth considering.

Following up on the Best Buy availability, for those who want to go straight to the horse’s mouth and purchase the Nokia Lumia 1020 via AT&T, you can now get your pre-orders in through their website.

Coming in at $299 on contract and that $659 we told you about over the weekend, the high-end camera phone with a 41MP sensor and advanced cropping comes in yellow, white and black.

For those who purchase online, you can opt for free priority shipping or pay $14.95 for overnight (we used to remember Sprint overnighting as part of the deal). Since this is for pre-orders though, there is no in-store availability option, meaning if you go this route you’ll have to wait for it in the mail. If however you want the Lumia 1020 the day it comes out, your best bet is to head to your AT&T store and have them take down your information to reserve one (if possible) on a first come, first serve basis.

Over the weekend we showed you some internal AT&T training videos for the soon-to-launch Lumia 1020. Concentrating on its massive 41MP camera, the videos also revealed a few accessories that AT&T is planning to co-launch on July 26th (remember, pre-orders start tomorrow).

Windows Phone Central can now confirm a few of those accessories, including an elegant all-black leather case from AGF ($35) and an OtterBox Defender ($50) for you folks who work at industrial sites and want to protect your new $650 investment.

Both accessories should be available for in-store purchases on the 26th and online ordering as well.

Having recently acquired both the Surface Pro and RT tablets at Microsoft’s Worldwide Partner Conference, I’m now fully prepared to bring you a variety of Surface accessory reviews. The first of these is the Microsoft Surface 5-in-1 Adapter from Juiced Systems. The 5-in-1 Adapter is designed for the Surface Pro and RT, though it could also be used with other Windows 8 tablets that have standard USB ports.

The Surface Pro and RT have only one such USB port, so you’ll need to use a USB hub or the extra USB port included on the Surface Pro’s power supply if you want to connect multiple USB devices to either tablet. Juiced’s 5-in-1 Adapter plugs into those tablets’ lonesome UBS port, giving them a second port and a lot more functionality to boot.

We’ve got an exclusive coupon for our readers and video review after the break!

In just two weeks’ time, consumers in the US will be given the opportunity to buy the most advanced camera and smartphone combo in the world. Fetching for $299 on contract ($659 off), the game changing Nokia Lumia 1020 is sure to raise a few eyebrows.

Now, three internal videos from AT&T have managed to find their way to our YouTube channel, which detail various aspects of the 1020, including Pro Camera, AT&T Locker and accessories. The videos appear to be meant for training of AT&T employees, to familiarize them with the new product and thus are not listed on AT&T’s public site. Such videos may be released later during the official release to help consumers as well.

Garmin has announced the release of heads-up display (HUD) that connects to your Windows Phone via Bluetooth. The HUD unit will project navigation information on to your windshield.  This will help increase safety and reduce driver distraction when using your Windows Phone as a navigational tool.  By projecting the navigational information in the driver's line of sight, it keeps their eyes more on the road.

The Garmin HUD is compatible with any Bluetooth enabled smartphone running Garmin Streetpilot or NAVIGON apps. HUD displays turn arrows, distance to the next turn, current speed, and the estimated time of arrival. Additional display options include alerts for when drivers exceed the speed limit, traffic delays and safety camera locations.
