Shop: Xbox One S Bundles | NEW Dell XPS 13" | Lenovo Sale | Surface Book

Back in August, we learned about a special edition white model of the Xbox One console that was going to be given to employees working in Microsoft's Interactive Entertainment Business division as part of a gift package. Now Microsoft is offering one lucky (and financially well-off) eBay bidder a chance to own the only white Xbox One unit to be offered to the general public. The auction will benefit the Wounded Warrior Project, a charity geared toward helping wounded service members and their families.

Fat Fingers is the official Windows Phone app for and allows you to search for eBay bargains that are often overlooked due to spelling errors.  Such errors prevent these auctions from being noticed or picked up on keyword searches allowing you to sweep in and win the auctions for a steal of a price.

The version 1.2 update of Fat Fingers brings new logos to match the Windows 8 app and support for Windows Phone 8 resolutions.

For those of you who use the excellent eBay app for Windows Phone, you'll want to get the latest update found now in the Marketplace. The past versions did an excellent job of allowing you to browse for new items to bid on, search for gifts, pin found items to your Start screen as a tile and even push notifications. But it lacked one big feature: the ability to create new auction listings right from your phone.

Now with version 1.17, you can start a new listing, take a photo with your phone for submission, edit the description, choose payment method, pick shipping options and more. This ability has been found on eBay's apps for iOS and Android for sometime now, so it's excellent to see it finally come to Windows Phone. We're sure many of you will be using this tool on a regular basis (especially if you have a Titan II, ahem).

Pick up the official eBay app here in the Marketplace for free. Thanks, Tal F., for the heads up!

For Sale: HTC Omega/Radar

We are all expecting to see the new HTC Windows Phones, the Omega (aka Radar) and the Eternity (aka Titan) on September 1, 2011 during a public reception that will be held in various locations in Europe. Surprisingly, the Omega/Radar has been spotted on an Algerian Auction site with a price tag of 370 Euros (about $538 U.S. dollars).

Along with the description of the phone (mobile phone, white) and price tag, there were also the customary product photos. Not really much to see here beyond what the product shots that were leaked last week revealed.

One of our readers last week toss out the idea the Omega was a bottom slider. While the oddly designed bottom of the phone could be a slide out keyboard, one would suspect the auction listing would highlight that feature. The listing does note that the Omega has 8GB of storage and one picture does give some credence to a front facing camera.

The phone looks alright but I'm not sure if the white/silver color pattern is a good thing or not.
