body glove

When it comes to cases, especially with today’s much classier looking phones, I’m not a big fan. Why cover up something that looks so great?

Well there are exceptions to everything and the Body Glove case for the Focus 2 (review) is one of them. As many of you know, I use the Focus 2 fairly regularly (though I exchange it with the Titan II and Lumia 900 often). It’s a great sized device, brilliant screen, fast and gets good battery life. Plus I like white, glossy phones. You can read more on my impressions here.

So why cover it up? Sometimes even I like a rugged phone and the Body Glove case is just excellent. For one, it fits very well for the device, a staple of all Body Glove cases from my experience. The holes are cut out very accurately, it’s not too thick, and it covers the important areas.

The back of the cover is smooth and flat making it ideal for surfaces (it won’t slide) and the sides have a grip texture to them, making it feel very secure in your hands. But due to the design, it’s very easy for sliding in and out of your pocket. Combined with the already small nature of the Focus 2 (it has a 4” screen) and the combo is a no brainer for carrying around....

We've looked at the Body Glove Landmark series of cases before. We liked the case with the HTC Touch Pro as well as for the Samsung Jack. Now we turn our sites on the top case for the HTC Surround.

The soft brown case is well made, looks nice but how does it make the transition to the new Windows Phone? Does the Landmark make the grade with Surround or does it fall short of expectations?

Hit the break to read more and view a hands on video.

For my money, Body Glove makes some of the best cell phone cases on the market. I’ve owned Body Glove cases for a number of the phones I’ve had over the years, and I’ve always been pleased with the products that they put out. When I got the opportunity to review Body Glove’s Soft Shell Case for the Samsung Focus, I jumped at the chance.

Get the complete review of the Body Glove Soft Shell Case after the break.

Pros:
Rubber case improves grip and softens impact when dropped
Cons:

Body Glove Snap-On case for Samsung Focus - Review

One downside to Microsoft’s business model of licensing the Windows Phone 7 OS to device manufacturers is that you don’t get the quantity of accessories that a device like the iPhone does. Fortunately, the Samsung Focus is starting to get some love in the accessory department, though some of our favorite case-makers are a little slow to get on the bandwagon (looking at you Otter Box).

Body Glove makes some of the best cell phone cases that I’ve ever used. Their Snap-On case for the Focus is a perfect example of what they are capable of. For the full breakdown of what Body Glove’s Snap-On case offers, keep reading.

Pros:
Belt clip with kick-stand
Cons:
Relatively expensive, charging port door is hard to get at.

Review: Body Glove Snap-on Case

The Body Glove Snap-on Case for the T-Mobile Touch Pro 2 is a hard shell wrapped with a textured, synthetic material. To add to this case's uniqueness, it comes with a kick-stand that allows you to prop up your Windows Phone.

As you can tell from the photos, the Snap-on Case is on an AT&T Tilt2.  Not having a T-Mobile Touch Pro 2 handy when I received the case for review, I took a chance to see if it would fit on the Tilt2.  While the Body Glove is being offered exclusively for the T-Mobile Touch Pro 2  it will fit other Touch Pro models. The one big caveat in doing such is the cut-outs match up with the T-Mobile version. They may or may not match up with other Touch Pro 2 versions.

To see how well the Snap-on Case works out (at least on the Tilt2), follow the break.

Review: Body Glove Rhythm Horizontal Pouch

Body Glove has been one of the major names in water sports for a very long time; they were one of the original manufacturers of wetsuits for people who wanted to enjoy surfing and diving year-round. Their transition in recent years into technology accessories has been relatively flawless, incorporating their essence (style and protective functionality) into their cases. I have owned Body Glove cases for several of my phones (and loved them), so when I got the opportunity to review the Body Glove Rhythm horizontal pouch, I jumped at the chance.

Review: Body Glove Landmark Horizontal Universal Case

Body Glove has been making quality cell phone cases for some time now and their latest offering, while the Landmark Horizontal Universal Case may qualify for one of the longer product names it also may be one of the better cases on the market. At $19.95 it might also be one of the best buys out there. I was able to take the Landmark Case out for a test drive recently and all you need to do to find out how it measured up is to follow the break.
