Gift Cards

Did someone just give you an Xbox gift card, Windows Store gift card, prepaid card, or promotional code? They usually come in the form of cards with a 25-character code. You can use these prepaid codes to make purchases without a credit card. We'll show you how you can redeem the codes on your Xbox One, Windows Phone device, or your computer.

Microsoft is launching new gift cards that will be used for purchases on Xbox, Windows and Windows Phone stores. Consumers will be able to purchase games, music, movies, shows, apps and more. We recently looked at a leak that detailed a launch for the gift cards to match Windows 8.1 (October 22nd), but you can already pick them up at a Germany retailer and Amazon UK.

A new leak has been published on Twitter by the account @Nawzil8. The tweet shows an image detailing what we can expect to see with the upcoming Windows Store gift cards. Said cards have been covered previously, so while we recommend you take this with a grain of salt, it's certainly plausible. Microsoft has added the option in Windows Phone Wallet, signalling to the ability to load said cards onto a Microsoft account, which will then be reflected in the Windows Phone hub.

We’re going to say right off the bat that we’re not into the whole JunoWallet thing—but we do recognize many of you are, so it’s with that sense we’re glad to announce that they have a well polished app for Windows Phone now.

Basically you have to fill out surveys that then earn you credits.  Those credits will then allow you to redeem things like gift-cards and other items from the JunoWallet company.

It’s like the opposite of online anonymity. Instead of not wanting companies to track you, you’re embracing the system to earn free stuff. And we have heard of people making quite a bit of money off of these deals—basically just filling out forms all day.  Granted, you can fill out fake info and we suppose that could work too—like we said, we don’t do this stuff, so we’re not completely privy on all the ins and outs...

We just got word that beginning May 30th, if you purchase any Windows Phone through Amazon Wireless, you get a $25 Amazon Gift Card!

Whether your looking for the new Verizon Trophy or are looking for one of AT&T's Windows Phones, an extra $25 gift card is never a bad thing.

You can check out all the Windows Phone offerings from Amazon Wireless here. We'll keep our fingers crossed that the deal lasts until the HTC HD7S hits the shelves.

Update: And here's the link for the $25 promo page. Pretty nice knowing you can make money off this deal if you buy some of AT&T's devices; even the Arrive is $0.01.
