Verisure is the consumer branch of Securitas Direct, a company in Europe that specializes in safety and security solutions for homes and businesses. Home owners can install a Verisure system to help protect their assets. There’s also now an official Verisure app for Windows Phone so you can control and monitor your home when you’re on the go. A little while ago we mentioned the AT&T Digital Life app that allows you to control various aspects of your home from your Windows Phone. With the service you can control everything from locking/unlocking your front door to turning on the lights to monitoring your security system.  The problem back in March, when the app first appeared, was that the Digital Life service wasn't available.

Today AT&T announced that the Digital Life service has launched in fifteen U.S. Markets including Atlanta, Austin, Texas, Boulder, Colo., Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, Philadelphia, Riverside, Calif., San Francisco, Seattle, St. Louis and select areas of the New York and New Jersey metropolitan area. AT&T plans to introduce Digital Life in up to 50 markets by the end of 2013.

AT&T announced their Digital Life Home Security and Automation service back in January and over the weekend, they released their Windows Phone companion app, AT&T Digital Life.

The Digital Life Home Security and Automation service allows customers to remotely manage things such as your home thermostat, lock doors, turn on security systems, turn on lights, and monitor security cameras. The service is slowly rolling out to various markets with the service being available in 58 markets by the end of 2013.
