Memorylage

Memorylage is a photography app for your Windows Phone 8 device that lets you view your photo albums in collage style, create collages, share your photos and use them as your lockscreen collage-styled wallpaper. It's a nice alternative to the native Pictures Hub and was recently updated to version 1.2.

The update brings a handful of new features and performance tweaks. Lockscreen collages can now be automatically generate (you can still manually create them) and updated periodically from your collage library. You can now adjust the margin between images and select which photo albums you want the collage generator to pull the photos from.

Memorylage is a nifty Windows Phone 8 app that taps into your Pictures Hub as an alternative viewer for your pictures. Memorylage displays the galleries in collage form and has the ability to create collages from selected images that can be used as lockscreens or shared as stand alone images.

The version 1.1 is more or less a maintenance update that addresses issues that were present in the original release such as fixing the caption of the lockscreen button in the Photo Booth, fixed a color theme issue, and dealt with some stability issues. While fixes are in place, you also get a few new features added to the mix.

Memorylage presents your photo albums in collage format, has a photo booth feature to create new collages and the ability to create collages from existing photos that can be used as lockscreen wallpapers.

Memorylage is a popular Windows 8 app that is due to hit the Windows Phone Store in the next few days. We were given an advance copy of the Windows Phone 8 app to run through the wringer and found it to be an interesting photo app.

Memorylage is a photo viewer, much like the native Pictures Hub on our Windows Phone.  The app presents our photos in a collage fashion (hence the "lage" suffix) along with a few tools to build custom collages as well.  Memorylage comes across as a very nice alternative (maybe supplement is a better choice of words) to the native Pictures Hub.
