Note+ is a rather straight forward Windows Phone app to pin note reminders to your Start Screen. The app was recently updated to version 2.7 that brings a few under the hood improvements along with Kid's Corner integration.

So why Kid's Corner integration? Should your kids use your Windows Phone they can leave reminders for school, chores around the house, etc.  Then there's situations where you might want to leave them a note to remind them about something.  The integration keeps your Note+ notes separate and unseen from those generated in the Kid's Corner.

Note+ is a simple note taking app for your Windows Phone for jotting down quick reminders while on the run. The app was recently updated to support Windows Phone 8 and along the way picked up voice commands, variable size Live Tile support and a security PIN feature to protect your notes.

You can use your Windows Phone 8 voice commands to launch Note+ and start a new note by saying, "Note+, create new note" and from there you simply follow the voice prompts and dictate your note.  Voice dictation can be also used to amend a note but for some reason you can't use voice dictation to create a new note from within the app.

You still have the ability to create notes the old fashion way by launching the app, tapping the + button and typing out your note but the voice dictation is a nice addition.

Note+ updated to v2, multiple notes added

If you recall, Note+ is a simple, yet effective, note taking app for your Windows Phone. The developer, Aälejandro Díazs, is based in the Dominican Republic where the Windows Phone Store isn't supported. But with the help of Nokia Developer Ambassador Rich Dunbar, Díazs was able to get the app published.

Well...Díazs took in all the feedback from Note+ users and basically re-wrote the app. The premise of the app is the same in that Note+ allows you jot down quick notes while on the go but it now supports multiple notes and Live Tile support for each note you generate.

Note+ is an interesting, yet simple, app on the Windows Phone Marketplace. What makes Note+ interesting isn't because it has a bazillion features but rather how this note taking app found its way to the Marketplace.  How Note+ landed on the Marketplace is also a nice example on how Nokia continues to support the Windows Phone platform and it's community of developers.

The developer, Aälejandro Díazs, resides in the Dominican Republic where the Windows Phone Marketplace support is not available for developers. Díazs, a graphics designer by trade, was impressed with the Metro design of Windows Phone and decided to learn how to code for the platform.  It didn't take long for Díazs to develop his first app, Note+, but without a Marketplace presence he had difficulties finding a way to have his work seen.

Díazs then came across an opportunity through Nokia Developer Ambassador Rich Dunbar to get his app published.  Dunbar reviewed submissions from developers who have yet to be published on the Marketplace for a chance at a App Hub token.  Those selected would be able to register with the App Hub and submit apps to the Marketplace for certification.

Note+ was one of the developers chosen and Díazs found himself with a foot in the Marketplace door.  Note+ would eventually pass certification and be published to the Windows Phone on June 29th. ..
