AT&T announced the Nokia Lumia 1520 pre-order a little over a week ago. Its set to arrive next Friday, the 22nd, and cost you $199 on-contract. While AT&T has had their pre-order page up since the announcement on October 22nd, pricing and availability were not known. Now, it looks like the Microsoft Store online has leaked the details via their just launched pre-order page.

It's only a matter of days before we're live from the Nokia World event in Abu Dhabi and it looks like Nokia China is too excited to keep the Lumia 1520 a secret. The official Nokia China store already published a pre-order page for Lumia 1520, accompanied by a fair amount of product information. What's more is the product listing is still live.

Yesterday was a big day for Microsoft, unveiling their follow ups to last year’s Surface tablets. The Surface 2 and Surface Pro 2 look to shake things up by building off of a solid foundation started in 2012, now powered by Windows 8.1.

While both devices remain at the same price points, the have improved substantially. The Surface 2 is now lighter, thinner and sports a 1080P display while the Surface Pro 2 has upgrade graphics, processor, better display, higher quality speakers and more than double the battery life.

That’s in addition to the newly re-worked kickstand, power connector and all the other refinements added to the updated Surface series (plus all of those accessories).

Microsoft has just announced the Surface Pro 2 and Surface 2 tablets today. Starting at $449 for the RT model, Surface 2 and $899 for the Surface Pro 2 edition, both devices will be available starting October 22nd—a huge cut down in time of announcement to release.

Indeed, you’ll be able to preorder both devices starting tomorrow at 8 AM EDT from, Microsoft Stores, and Best Buy in the U.S. and Canada, as well as select retailers in most Surface 2 and Surface Pro 2 launch markets.

So the question is, who’s getting one?

The Nokia Lumia 625 is the next device set to be released by Nokia in the coming weeks. First announced two-weeks ago, the new Lumia is being angled as a more premium entry-level device. Its secret is of course the 4.7-inch ClearBlack display and the slightly bumped specs from its tiny brother, the Lumia 620. For instance, it rocks a 1.2 GHz dual-core CPU, which may just make the difference for speed versus the previous 1.0 GHz models.

Now that AT&T and Best Buy have online pages for pre-ordering the coveted Nokia Lumia 1020 today (we’re still waiting on Microsoft Store), the question is have you put in your order?

Take our poll, let us know your plans. We’ll make sure to have a launch party celebration in 10 days for this device, which should garner a lot of headlines and ‘oohs’ and ‘ahhs’ from passersby’s on the street.  (If on your smartphone, head to to participate!)

Did you pre-order your AT&T Nokia Lumia 1020?

Following up on the Best Buy availability, for those who want to go straight to the horse’s mouth and purchase the Nokia Lumia 1020 via AT&T, you can now get your pre-orders in through their website.

Coming in at $299 on contract and that $659 we told you about over the weekend, the high-end camera phone with a 41MP sensor and advanced cropping comes in yellow, white and black.

For those who purchase online, you can opt for free priority shipping or pay $14.95 for overnight (we used to remember Sprint overnighting as part of the deal). Since this is for pre-orders though, there is no in-store availability option, meaning if you go this route you’ll have to wait for it in the mail. If however you want the Lumia 1020 the day it comes out, your best bet is to head to your AT&T store and have them take down your information to reserve one (if possible) on a first come, first serve basis.

If you’re anxious to pick up the Nokia Lumia 1020 on AT&T, due in ten days, then you may want to consider Best Buy. The massive retailer has now posted the phone in all three colors (yellow, black and white) for a contract price of $299 and off-contract for a massive $749.

Of course the bargain for some of you may for those who have Best Buy gift cards or Rewards Zone offers to apply to this phone, reducing the overall price. Otherwise, heading to AT&T or even a Microsoft Store may yield a better price.

We have been tipped off that Lumia 822 orders have been pegged as being shipped today. One of our readers tried to pre-order with no luck, but then logged into their account and upgraded through available channels. A confirmation email was sent stating that the order would ship today.

This could be very good news for Verizon customers indeed, we have yet to hear from anyone that has received a Lumia 822 so we’re not going to get too excited right now. We’d certainly like to hear from any of you if you’re seeing similar order confirmations. If you have one already be sure to let us know too.

This morning AT&T threw open the preorders for the Nokia Lumia 920, which is commanding a super-low $99 price tag on contract in addition to a limited offering of a free wireless charging pad.

What may be of interest to some is the fact that the off-contract, no commitment price (but yes, still locked to AT&T) is just $450. That’s quite fascinating as most had expected the no-commitment price to be north of $599. That is what Best Buy (and eBay) had as the off-contract price and considering the technology on board the Lumia 920 it made sense. Even when some of us applied a 25% off coupon on the eBy preorder our price was knocked down to $450, which at the time seemed like a steal. (Best Buy is price matching AT&T, so keep that in mind if you ordered from them).

Good news for those on AT&T eagerly awaiting the Nokia Lumia 920 or HTC 8X as eBay/Best Buy have the devices listed with pricing and “expected availability” date. And yes, you can now order them too.

The new date is November 9th, which fits in the idea that AT&T is really scrambling to get these phones out the door. Originally we heard early November and then later November 4th. News came forward recently that it had been pushed back and seeing as AT&T did not reveal any information at Monday’s event, it made sense that this was in “motion”.

Of course since AT&T has still not officially announced pricing and availability, all of this is subject to change.
