Here's a fun game to pass the time with. Tap Shot is a finger tap shooting gallery for your Windows Phone that will test your reaction time and powers of observations.

The goal of the game is simple. Tap the screen to shoot as many targets as they appear on the screen within thirty seconds, avoid tapping friendly targets and don't miss. The game has three levels of play to keep you challenged.  Take the jump past the break to read more about Tap Shot and catch our hands-on video.

While Tap Shot is billed as having three levels, the levels are more levels of difficulty than game play.  Each level offers a different type of target.

Level One is filled with stationary targets that pop up at random on a fence line.

Level Two has a combination of stationary targets, friendly targets (the blue ones with a person strapped to it) and moving targets (a vulture).

Level Three is strictly moving targets that range from the vulture to a witch on a flying broom to bats.

Point multipliers are earned by hitting consecutive targets without missing and the targets with stars earn you bonus time.  The further you progress during the time period, the quicker the targets rotate, requiring quicker reflexes and more accurate taps.

Tap Shot is an entertaining, slightly addictive game for your Windows Phone.  The only thing missing is an online leaderboard.  There is a trial version available and the full version will run you $.99. You can download Tap Shot here (opens Zune) at the Marketplace.
