Techland, the team behind the zombie-themed action games Dead Island and Dying Light, have announced they are co-developing and publishing Pure Farming 17: The Simulator. No release date was announced.

Not much is known about the game, which Techland is creating alongside developer Ice Flames. In a post on Techland's website, it says:

Pure Farming 17: The Simulator is a simulation game offering a complete and realistic farming experience. The title will be the company's take on how this immensely successful genre can be grown into something even bigger.

The teaser trailer for Pure Farming 17: The Simulator seems to indicate that it will be a PC-only release, via Steam. Its main rival, Farming Simulator 17, from Giants Software and Focus Home Interactive, will be released later this fall on the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

More information on Techland's Pure Farming 17: The Simulator will be revealed later this month at Gamescom 2016 in Cologne, Germany. Windows Central will be here to offer first-hand reports on the show floor.
